No affect on liquor sales in Seemandhra

Despite the intense agitations in Seemandhra for over a month now, Liquor sales haven't been effected and also recorded a growth of 10% percent during this period.

Andhra Pradesh Beverage Corporation Limited (APBCL) average monthly sales volume will be anywhere around Rs 1600. However, it collected over Rs 1700 for the month of August.

Analysts have been saying that the liquor sales were unaffected because the agitators were focusing on stalling business operations only in the daytime and this would permit the sales in peek hours in the nights. Even the bandh calls haven't been showing any impact as the protestors were relaxing in the evening after intense work in the daytime.

While Seemandhra people like IML (Indian Made Foreign Liquor), Telangana people prefers beers. In August alone, 47 lakh cases of IML and 35 lakh cases of beer have been sold.
