What kept Ram Charan grounded?

Ram Charan who is extensively promoting his maiden Bollywood flick 'Zanjeer' has been revealing a lot of interesting facts about his personal life. Claiming that parenting methods of his father have kept him grounded, the 28-year-old actor says Chiranjeevi made sure that all of his children were brought up as a normal kid and kept them away from films as well. Neither they could watch movies at home, nor find film magazines anywhere in their surroundings.

In Childhood, Charan used to rarely go to the film sets as he felt shooting the same scene again and again as very boring. Even the unit members including the heroines of his father were too old for him to even make a conversation, so he deliberately avoided the shooting spots. It only when he reached 18, Acting bug has finally bitten Charan and grabbed the opportunity he had at his door steps.

Charan claims not knowing the difference between born as an actor's son and not being an actor's son as his father is a big star by the time he was born. He, however, feels being a celebrity has it's share of pros and cons. Though he loves shopping and eating out with friends, the actor couldn't do so at times because of his celebrity status.
