Entire media went on to report that Arun Kumar, the culprit who was nabbed by cops in connection with the 'Atharintiki Daredi' leakage issue, as the Production Assistant of Producer BVSN Prasad. However, this is actually untrue.

As per the official sources, Arun Kumar isn't employee of producer BVSN Prasad's production house but an assistant in the Editing Room.

As per the cops, Arun Kumar has given a CD which contained the 90-min footage of 'Atharintiki Daredi' to his good friend and APPSC Police Constable. The cop then passed the CD to Pedana in Krishna District and from there the leak has spread like wildfire.

After 'Atharintiki Daredi' leak, Telugu Film Industry is planning to tighten the access controls to avoid pre-release piracy. Digital Technology has made the transfer and storage of film content so easy and pirates have been taking advantage this situation, eventually putting the lives of hundreds of people at risk. Whoever encourages the piracy deserves punishment and only strict measures could save TFI!
