With Harish casting Shruti in back-to-back films, Media began speculating she is the lucky mascot of this hotshot filmmaker. However, Harish denies having any such beliefs. "I don't believe in the concepts like lucky charm, iron leg or golden leg. Shruti Haasan is one of leading heroines and also a good friend of mine. She allotted bulk dates for 'Ramayya Vastavayya', even more than what I had expected. Her performance in the movie will be highly appreciated," he told.
Interestingly, Both Samantha and Shruti Haasan don't have at least single combination scene in the movie. Harish Shankar has given different characterizations for each one of them and they will entertain the movie buffs to the core.
