Telugu in SSC is compulsory

State Government has decided to implement the three-language formula from now. It even directed the SSC Board not to offer any privileges to the students from other states and countries studying in AP.
All the students including those who are from other states and countries will have to choose Telugu as their first or second language if they wish to appear in SSC public exams in March 2014. Each and every school in the state including CBSE, ICSE or other curriculum have to follow this rule.
Director of Government Exams B Manmadha Reddy said Students willn't be allowed to sit in SSC exams in March next year if they fail to choose Telugu as their first or second language.
After the World Telugu Conference held in December 2012, State Government made Telugu compulsory for students from Class 1 to 10 in all the schools.
