My Love Story similar to YMC

Director Gopichand Malineni made his directorial debut with Don Seenu and achieved star status with Balupu. Not many of them knew he actually thought of directing a love story for his debut. But, His plans have gone for a toss after the release of Gautam Menon's Ye Maya Chesave.
"I had wished to turn director with a nice love story. My subject has been put in the cold storage with Ye Maya Chesave. Why because, the stories of both the films were almost similar. May be, Gautam Menon too got the same idea," explains the director.
Gopichand Malineni scored a hat-trick with Don Seenu, Bodyguard and Balupu at the very beginning of his career. He is currently busy with pre-production work of Allu Arjun's project for Dil Raju's production.
Despite Bollywood offers, Gopichand Malineni is concentrating on Telugu itself. Good to have successful filmmakers like Malineni in Telugu Film Industry.
