Chiru Aide becomes Film Chamber President

The elections for AP Film Chamber of Commerce has been held Yesterday and all the four sectors (Producers, Distributors, Exhibitors and Studio Owners) have participated in it. As the president post was reserved for Distributors sector this year, Chiru fielded his close aide NV Prasad (Racha producer) in the Chamber polls.
As per the reliable sources, NV Prasad has been unanimously elected as the president of Film Chamber.
However, Film Chamber hasn't been officially announcing the election results as the court directed it to reserve the result till August 1st. Producer Natti Kumar has recently filed a petition in court stating a member in Distributors sector has 13 votes and urged to resolve the issue by directing the Chamber to change the rules.
AP Film Chamber consists 1600 members who would cast their vote for electing the executive committee and office bearers. interestingly, some of these members were permitted to cast more than one vote. For example: A Producer having a single banner is eligible to cast one vote and the one who has multiple banners is allowed to vote multiple times (based on count of his banners).
