Digvijay press note to Seemandhra protestors

After two months continued agitations, Finally congress high command has recognised the effort and concerns of Seemandhra people. Party state in-charge Digvijay has release the press note by addressing the people of seemandhra region. In their press note the party has tried to assure the needs of seemandhra people and concerned about the on-going agitations

Congress party expressed their concern over the on-going protests in the Seemandhra and appealed to the people to give up the agitations.Maintaining that the party was deeply concerned over the agitation in Seemandhra, Digvijay said the people of the region are being put to inconvenience because of disruption in power supply and strike by non-gazetted government employees.

He said a group of ministers formed by the central government would hold detailed consultations with all stake holders on these issues and other sensitive matter.

"The Congress party assures the people of Seemandhra that it remains fully committed to addressing all their concerns, particularly with respect to safety interests of people living and working in Telengana, the concerns with regard to education and employment opportunities in Hyderabad for their youth, sharing of river waters and power issue etc," Digvijay said
