Deputy CM Damodar Raja Narasimha found fault with the remarks of chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy regarding the bifurcation of state. He stressed, leaders who are in a commanding position shouldn't turn into conspirators.

Damodar opined the root cause for all the problems is that during the last 56 years after the formation of Andhra Pradesh state, 44 years have been ruled by Seemandhra CMs. "Out of 56 years, 40 years have been ruled by Seemandhra CMs and 14 years by Telangana CMs. Who were responsible for these backwardness of this region?," he questioned.

"Telangana have a great history and culture. It's the soil of movements. For about 600 years, Qutub Shahis and Asif Jahis have rule the region. It was Telanganites who fought against the landlords. We have faced a lot of insults and humiliations since 1956. Today, we are able to achieve our own state," added Damodar.
