Star Hero to lose 18 kilos for a role

Versatile star Vikram goes to any extent to get into the skin of the character he has been playing. He is setting an example once again on how actors should surrender to the role.
Vikram has lost lost about 13 kilos for a role in his upcoming flick 'Manoharudu' ('I' in Tamil) which is being directed by Shankar. Now, the ace filmmaker has asked the actor to lose five more kilos to perfectly fit the character he has envisioned. Vikram immediately left for China to shed weight using the state-of-the-art equipment. Hats off to the dedication of this finest actor!
'Manoharudu' is going to be the biggest film in Vikram's career as nearly Rs 100 crores have gone into the production. A special episode in the film has been shot in China and this is going to be a major highlight. Vikram will be seen in dual roles. Amy Jackson is playing the female lead. Music is by AR Rahman. Makers are planning for release in August this year.
