Vishwanath Akuthota, an Indian Student, was sentenced for 1 year in prison for deliberately damaging computers of a college in New York. He was also fined $58,471 by US Attorney Grant C Jaquith on charge of restitution.

On February 14th, Vishwanath inserted a 'USB Killer' device into 66 computers, several computer monitors and computer enhanced podiums. This move has detroyed the USB Port and Electrical System.

The 27-Year-Old who was residing in the US on Student Visa was arrested in North Carolina on February 22nd. Damaged Computers are owned by the College of St Rose in Albany.

Consequences faced by Vishwanath Akuthota should be a good life lesson. You can't get away with mischief after causing such massive destruction.
