14 Crore Hawala Money Seized In Telangana

Cops increased the surveillance at Telangana-Karnataka, AP-Telangana border and all over Telangana as per the orders from Election Commission. Around Rs 14 crore Hawala Money was seized so far in Telangana.
In the searches at Adilabad, Rs 10 crore cash was recovered from a Duster Car with Karnataka Registration. Seized currency was in denominations of Rs 2000 and Rs 500.
Three days ago, 500 notes worth Rs 59 lakh were seized in Koti.
In Abids, Hawala Money to the tune of Rs 2.54 crore was seized.
Acting on a tip-off, Cops searched the car travelling from Hyderabad to Jagityal with Hawala Money. The vehicle belongs to Telugu Yuvatha Telangana Vice President Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar.
EC arranged Static Surveillance Teams all over Telangana to keep a check on influencing voters with money and liquor.
