Rajput Community has been opposing Bollywood flick 'Padmaavati' since the day it was launched. Even after Censor clearance and change of title to 'Padmaavat', There is no change in the approach of Karni Sena or Rajputs.

As the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama is all set to hit the screens on January 25th, As many as 2,000 Rajput Women threatened to self-immolate before the theatres screening the movie if the release isn't stalled. They have disclosed their names to make everyone realize the seriousness of the situation. This ultimatum was passed to the Collector during a rally attended by 3,000 Rajput Women in Chittor Ghar area.

On the other hand, Karni Sena gave a call for Nationwide protests on the release day of 'Padmaavat'. The Organization says Many Theatre Owners have accepted their demands and those who screen the movie will face dire consequences.

As a preventive measure, Bus Services has been stopped in Gujarat. Even the situation in Rajasthan looked tense. Five States have already imposed a ban on 'Padmaavat'. Makers moved Supreme Court seeking removal of any such restrictions.
