Here is some disconcerting news from Andhra Pradesh!! Even as chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to probe into the corrupt practices of the earlier government and is doing everything under his command to root out corruption, there are reports that some newly elected YSRCP MLAs are resorting to financial irregularities. These MLAs are said to be demanding their cuts in mining deals, contracts and other government works. Some have already opened shops and have been entering into shady deals over various government works.
According to highly placed sources, a list of 27 YSRCP MLAs, known to have indulged in shady deals and corrupt practices on coming to power, is lying on YS Jagan's table. Intel reports about these MLAs have been taken to Jagan's attention. He is said to have decided to have a chat with these MLAs and warn them. If they do not pay heed to these warnings, he would initiate action against them. If sources are to be believed, YS Jagan is pretty serious about rooting out corruption and does not want any black mark on his government.
