38 Indians detained in UK for Visa breach

As many as 38 Indians have been detained by UK Immigration Officials for violation of Visa norms. Raids were held at two clothing stores (MK Clothing Ltd and Fashion Times UK Ltd) in Leicester City, About 38 Indians and 1 Afghanistani have been taken into custody.

Actually, 31 out of 39 people are detained for staying in UK despite completion of the Visa period. While seven others entered into Britain illegally, One person has breach the Visa norms.

The two Clothing Firms which are facing charges of Immigration Abuse will face a fine of 20,000 pounds for each illegal worker. While MK Clothing Ltd have to pay 240,000 pounds, Fashion Times UK Ltd must pay 180,000 pounds if the charges were proven right. UK Officials have sent a clear indication with this raid that Immigration Abuse willn't be tolerated.
