98% Polling in Vice President Election

About 98.21 percent of polling has been recorded in the Vice President election on Saturday. 771 out of total 785 votes have been polled by the closing time, 5 PM.
NDA's Vice Presidential Candidate exuded confidence of winning the poll citing most of the parties have been backing him. Whereas, Opposition's Candidate Gopalkrishna Gandhi made it clear the election is neither between two persons nor two parties.
No Whip can be issued by Parties in Vice Presidential Poll as election is through secret ballot. BJP is extremely confidence of winning by a healthy margin. While NDA have 336 MPs in Lok Sabha, There are 58 MPs for BJP in Rajya Sabha.
The term of incumbent Vice President Hamid Ansari is going to end on August 10th.
