AIADMK Moving Closer To Rajinikanth

AIADMK has been sending feelers to Rajinikanth for pre-poll alliance ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls. The Ruling Party Leaders are aware of the fact that they will lose many seats if elections happen. Alliance with a strong force is the only option that can bail out them from trouble.
Tamil Nadu Minister K Pandiyarajan: 'AIADMK is in need of a charismatic leader after the demise of Jayalalithaa. Party is in power and have a huge cadre but it lacks a Leader who have the stature of Amma. We would be left overjoyed if Rajinikanth joins hands with AIADMK'.
Whereas, Few AIADMK Leaders are opposing any tie-up with Thalaivar. Few of them dared to say Rajini can join AIADMK as a normal worker but can't aim for becoming either CM or General Secretary of the party.
Analysts say, AIADMK Leaders might be desperate to use the charisma of Rajinikanth but he actually have plans to defeat the ruling party by contesting alone in the next Assembly Polls. He might be taking anti-AIADMK Stand for Lok Sabha polls even if his party refrains from contesting.
