AU Students Union and Student Unions of few parties staged dharna at the venue of pre-release event demanding Chiranjeevi's support for No Confidence Motion seeking Special Status. They said, 'Chiranjeevi has to make statement in favour of Special Status & take part in the people's movement. Why Tollywood Stars aren't demanding Special Status?'.
