Aadhar Card To Go, Modi To Bring Another Card For Indians

Flush with huge successes in Maharashtra and Haryana, a majority in Rajya Sabha, Narendra Modi Government will aim to bring one common, all-inclusive card for the citizens of the country. Instead of having driving licence, pan card, passport and adhaar card and others, the citizens will soon have only one card. This will make things easier. A bill to this effect would be introduced in the winter session of Parliament, which will begin on November 18. This card will replace the Aadhar card.

The Government is planning to hold the winter session from November 18 till December 13. During this session of Parliament, the BJP is also likely to bring bills relating to common civil code and labour reforms. Another important bill would be about expanding the National Capital Region (NCR) by including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Baghpat, Sonepat, Bahadurgarh and Jhajjar.

The BJP would be politically in a very strong position in this session as it has secure majorities in both the houses of Parliament. To add to it, the Opposition would be completely demoralised by the crushing defeats in Maharashtra and Haryana elections. In both the states, the BJP is set to register unassailable majorities.
