BJP Fields Senior Hero In Thrissur Segment

BJP declared Malayalam Actor Suresh Gopi will be contesting from Thrissur Lok Sabha Constituency in Kerala. Suresh Gopi is one of the 377 MP Candidates announced by the Saffron Party so far for the upcoming elections.
Down South, BJP was unable to gain the support of any of the Star Heroes. The situation is slightly better for the National Party in Kerala. Suresh Gopi who is known for his high-voltage police roles has been its member since few years. He was nominated as Rajya Sabha Member in the past. And now, The Senior Hero is testing his luck in the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
BJP performed poorly in Kerala Assembly Polls which happened few years ago. In this part of the country, Both Left and Congress are dominant. Sabarimala Issue was utilized well by the Saffron Party for religious polarization of the votes. This elections could be more like a progress card for BJP. Whether Keralites will continue to reject the national party with Hindutva agenda or own it?
