The other day, AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy challenged Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu will he resign if the claims of TDP over implementation Zero Interest Scheme are proven false. And now, A YCP MLA has come forward to throw a challenge to the TDP Supremo.
Alla Ramakrishna Reddy opined people of AP knew who is Pro-Farmer and who cheated farmers in the past 5 years. He went on to say, 'By offering free power, YSR offered a new lease of life to agriculture. The kind of measures taken by him for the well-being of farmers were inspiring. Jagan is moving ahead in his Father's footsteps. He decided to set up Rs 5,000 crore fund for assuring MSP for farm produce and proposed a new law for Tenant Farmers. Nobody could question the commitment of Jagan towards farmers welfare'.
The Mangalagiri MLA slammed Chandrababu Naidu for failing to implement Farm Loan Waiver. 'Why Naidu hasn't spoken about Farm Loan Waiver during 2017 SLBC Meeting? Isn't because of him Farmers got debt ridden now? Babu is Anti-Farmer. Government is open for a debate on Privilege Motion. How much of cultivable land was in AP when he came to power & how much remained by the end of his term? Is he ready for a debate?,' he challenged.
Chief Whip Srikanth Reddy alleged TDP Government made only Rs 1,500 crore payments though it claims to have spent Rs 17,200 crore for Farm Loan Waiver. He slammed Naidu for increasing the burden on farmers by Rs 1,600 crore in the past 5 years in the form on interest on loans. The MLA told Babu lacked the courage to proudly say he implement Farm Loan Waiver completely. He also recalled that Previous Government has failed to implement DWAKRA and Handloom Loan Waiver.
