TDP Government kept facing allegations over splurging of crores in the name of AP Capital development. Offering more scope to criticism, An order has been passed by the State Government exempting Amaravati-related activities from the purview of Right To Information (RTI) Act.
What is that AP Government wishes to hide about the Capital? TDP Government should have maintained transparency to counter the allegations instead of denying the right for public to know the facts.
Allotment of 1,691 acres to Singapore Firms to carry out real estate activity for helping in the construction activity of Amaravati was criticised by the Opposition Parties. Focussing more on the Temporary Buildings instead of Permanent Structures is another major drawback.
