Restrictions imposed for Chalo Amaravati

AP Government intensified the plans to prevent Mudragada Padmanabham from successfully completing 'Chalo Amaravathi' Padayatra on July 26th.
Notices have been served to Opposition Leaders by Cops under 149 CrPC. Cops made it clear Meetings & Padayatras are prohibited as Section 30 and Section 144 is implemented in the District. YSR Congress, CPM and CPI Leaders were issued these notices.
On Wednesday, YCP CGC Member Jakkampudi Vijayalakshmi has been served notices. Cops went to YCP Rajahmundry Rural Co-Ordinator Akula Veeraju's house on Friday to handover notice but failed to do so as he was in Hyderabad then. CPM District Secretary T Aruna received notices at party office. When cops went to CPI Office for issuing notices, They were asked to come later saying a dharna on farmers issues was happening at that time.
Rajamahendravaram Urban SP B Rajakumari told media that only those political parties which extended support to 'Chalo Amaravati' were issued notices warning appropriate action will be taken if they participate in Padayatra.
