Political Opponents are eagerly waiting for defaming Pawan Kalyan since the Jana Sena Formation Day meeting. The interview offered to News 18 channel became a weapon for them now. Pro-TDP Media had given extensive coverage to the episode to convey that Pawan Kalyan took a u-turn on Special Status and he is a BJP Agent.
Even Left Parties were shell shocked with the reports of Pawan Kalyan backtracking on Special Status and seeking Financial Assistance instead. When media sought his reaction, CPM Madhu commented: 'Pawan told us he is committed to Special Status. Then, Why did he say like that to National Media?'.
