Dad Kills Daughter For Speaking To Lover

A Teenager was alleged killed by her Father upon hearing the conversation she had with her boyfriend. This shocking incident took place at a village in Chandarlapadu Mandal, Krishna District.
Chandrika, a pharmacy student, turned 18 on last Saturday. She celebrated her birthday at her home by cutting a cake. A day after her birthday, Chandrika was spotted speaking to a boy over phone by her Father Kottaiah and he overhead the conversation. In a fit of rage, Kottaiah attacked Chandrika with a wooden handle of an axe. The girl collapsed on the floor and died on the spot.
Police Investigation revealed, Chandrika wished to marry her Boyfriend with the consent of her Family Members as she became a major. However, Kottaiah isn't able to accept that his Daughter is in a relationship with someone. He killed his Daughter due to his concern for family honour.
