TDP Government kept announcing as many schemes as possible to woo the voters ahead of the issuance of Election Notification. Few crucial decisions have been taken during Today's cabinet meeting.
Cabinet approved Annadatha Sukhibava Scheme under which Rs 10,000 will be offered to farmers having less than 5 acres of land in two instalments (Kharif, Rabi).
AP Government included Rs 6,000 promised by NDA Government in the Rs 10,000 financial assistance provided to the farmers. Which means, Only Rs 4,000 will be offered by the State Govt to farmers. Whereas, TDP Leaders have been claiming that they are offering Rs 10,000 to farmers under Annadatha Sukhibava Scheme.
Instead of mentioning how much will be offered per acre, TDP Government has been promising Rs 10,000 for all farmers having less than 5 acres. Which means, The amount will be same for 1 acre farmer and 4.99 acres farmer.
Opposition Parties question, 'Is it fair to do such gimmicks? Although 60 percent of funding is offered by Centre, TDP Government is claiming complete credit for its 40 percent share'.
