CM's Advisor Who Witnessed CS Assault Resigns

VK Jain is a close aide and advisor to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. He was the one who witnessed the assault of Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash by Two AAP MLAs in the presence of Chief Minister.
Days after Delhi Police questioned him in connection with the assault case, VK Jail resigned from the post of Advisor to Delhi CM citing personal reasons. He sent his resignation letter to CMO and Lieutenant Governor.
After his retirement as the CEO of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), Arvind Kejriwal appointed VK Jain as his Advisor. He, however, stopped coming to the CMO since the assault of CS and went on a week-long medical leave.
Delhi Police informed court that VK Jain admitted witnessing the assault of Chief Secretary by MLAs Prakash Jarwal and Amanatulllah Khan at Arvind Kejriwal's residence. However, Mr.Jain maintained he had gone to the washroom when the incident happened. He could have resigned either due to pressure from State Government or it could be a strategic move.
