Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues staged protest at the office of Lt Governor since Monday evening. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Ministers Gopal Rai and Satyendra Kumar Jain also took part in the sit-in protest. They slept last night on the sofa at Lt Governor's Office.
Today morning, Kejriwal tweeted: 'My Dear Delhiites, Good Morning! Struggle Continues'.
Why Arvind Kejriwal choose to protest? The demands include Full Statehood For Delhi, End of IAS Officers Strike and Action against Officers who kept neglecting work since four months.
Kejriwal alleged PMO isn't allowing Delhi Government to function properly. He complained Centre has been using CBI, ED and ACB against AAP Leaders while mentioning 14 cases booked against his Ministers. In a shocking move, AAP Chief declared he would campaign for Narendra Modi in 2019 Polls if full statehood is granted to Delhi.
Lt Governor's Officer termed the sit-in protest of Delhi CM as dharna without a reason. For now, Kejriwal managed to garner the attention of people on the issue.
