In the recent past, Defections to TDP has slowed down because the Ruling Party wants to encourage only the MLAs with credibility and those who won't be a liability. Yet again, One more Opposition MLA is keen to shift loyalties. Even TDP Leadership is in favor of inviting this Lawmaker into the party.
Giddalur YCP MLA M Ashok Reddy on Thursday held meetings with local leaders and his followers to take a final call on joining TDP. Even though his followers asked him go ahead with his decision, They cautioned him to get the assurance from TDP Government over the release of funds to the constituency.
Buzz in political circles is that TDP has been holding talks with two YSR Congress MLAs for now. These two legislators will bid goodbye to the Main Opposition any time soon.
