Why Anushka can't accompany Kohli for SL tour?

A BCCI Official made it clear that Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) of Indian Cricketers are not allowed for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour. The Cricket Board took this call as most of the players have got a one-month break to spend time with the family post the Bangladesh & Zimbabwe tours.
As a result, Anushka Sharma had to drop her plans to cheer for her boyfriend Virat Kohli from the stands in Sri Lanka as she willn't be allowed to accompany him this time. The love-birds have to stay separately for at least one-and-a-half month.
India tour Sri Lanka for a 3-Test Match Series starting from August 12th. This tour is very crucial for Men-in-Blue and they will be determined to put a good show.
Team's Director Ravi Shahtri, who is currently doing commentary for ongoing Ashes series as per prior contract with Sky Sports, is expected to join them on August 9th.
