This ROAD to be renamed after Abdul Kalam!

BJP MP Maheish Giri appealed Union Government to rename Aurangzeb Road in New Delhi after APJ Abdul Kalam as a tribute to the People's President.
Maheish Giri personally met Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu to submit a proposal in this regard. The Parliamentarian believes rename a road after Kalam is a great way preserving his legacies and memory forever.
After his proposal received a lot of support from people all over the country, Maheish Giri is planning to organize debates to discuss the matter with educational institutions only to make this a mass movement. He sees renaming Aurangzeb road as a befitting tribute to the great personality of Abul Kalam.
Maheish Giri is representing the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.
