Kancha Ilaiah Attacked Once Again

Kancha Ilaiah became an arch-rival of Arya Vysyas and BJP with the book 'Samajika Smugglerlu Komatollu'. The Dalit Professor refused to succumb to the threats issued to him over the past few months. Even Supreme Court refused to ban the book saying any such attempt is like curtailing the freedom of expression. Ilaiah challenged the Governments to impose a ban on his book if they believe what he has done is wrong. Neither Telangana nor AP Governments dared to take any such step till date.
Attempts to attack Kancha Ilaiah continue to happen. When the Professor reached a court in Korutla to attend the hearing of a case, BJP Yuva Morcha Activists tried to attack him. Eggs were pelted on the car of the Professor and slogans against the controversial book have been raised.
With the protection given by the Cops, Kancha Ilaiah escaped unhurt in Today's incident. Few BJP Activists were taken into custody by the Police. Members of Arya Vysya Community staged a protest against Kancha Ilaiah and the controversial book in the court premises.
Few weeks ago, Kancha Ilaiah's car was damaged by Arya Vysyas & a dharna was staged by BJP Activists in front of the hotel where he stayed.
