Yeddyurappa Sworn-in As CM Of Karnataka

Amidst high drama since last night, BS Yeddyurappa sworn-in as the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka on Thursday morning. He visited temple before taking part in the oath-taking ceremony. BJP Workers celebrated outside Raj Bhavan after their leader was sworn in as next CM.



Congress Leaders staged protest at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Vidhan Soudha against the swearing-in ceremony of BS Yeddyurappa. Siddaramaiah claimed he would go to the people to make them realize how BJP has violated the Constitution of India.

Congress and JD (S) MLAs left Eagleton Resort to hold protest outside the Karnataka Assembly.

Union Minister Ananth Kumar said Congress should protest against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Siddaramaiah as they alone ruined the 130-Year-Old Party. He went on to say BJP will prove majority in the floor of the house.
