The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) denied certification for Bollywood flick 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'. This movie is about the sexual encounters of four women in different age groups living in the same town.

CBFC denied clearance to 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' on grounds that it have love making scenes, abusive language, audio pornography and reference to one section of a society.

Director Prakash Jha who produced the movie accused CBFC of curtailing the freedom of expression. He feels such a move discourages filmmakers from pushing the envelope.

'Lipstick Under My Burkha' is being directed by Alankrita Shrivastava. Is he willing to tone down the explicit content or moves the court for Censor Certificate?
