Centre Locks Date For Audit on APs Expenditure
X
Lack of any specific allocations for Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget 2018 led to a friction between the State and Central Governments. To put an end to the whole issue, Centre decided to conduct an Audit on AP's expenditure on February 21st and 22nd.

Focus would be on - Promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014, Budget Allocations, Kadapa Steel Factory, Funds AP received since 2014, Complete Details of Projects, Utilization Certificates and other details. Eight Departments of Central Government will be taking part in the crucial meeting.

Apart from AP Government's Chief Secretary, Secretaries of Finance, Planning, Transport, Mines, Industries, CRDA and other Departments will be leaving for Delhi soon. CM Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to collect all the necessary information for the meeting to make centre answerable for the injustice being done. Will Centre push Chandrababu Naidu into defense by saying AP Government failed to produce utilization certificates? or Would it sanction funds sought by the State Government? The body language of AP BJP Leaders hint Centre is in no mood to succumb to the pressure.
