YS Jaganmohan Reddy's swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will be happening on May 30th. YCP Chief himself made a phone call to TDP Supremo for inviting him to the swearing-in ceremony. Even the Senior TDP Leaders received invitations from the YSRC Office.

TDP Leadership decided not to attend the swearing-in ceremony of YS Jaganmohan Reddy due to past experiences. Jagan remained inaccessible to TDP when it emerged victorious in 2014. Neither did YCP Chief attending the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu nor sent any of the Party Leaders on behalf of him. Taking these developments into account, TDP Supremo decided not to attend the swearing-in ceremony on May 30th. He also appealed TDP Leaders and Workers not to make any negative comments on YS Jaganmohan Reddy as of now.

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will be reaching Vijayawada a day in advance for taking part in Jagan's swearing-in ceremony. TRS Chief might mention about 'return gift' during his speech. Naidu don't want to be present when his political rivals are in a celebration mood. To avoid humiliation, TDP President might have decided to skip the ceremony.
