Ahead of the elections, People get the opportunity to see Politicians in various avatars as they try to please different sections of people. That is what AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has done when the autowallahs has come to thank him for abolishing the road tax on autos.
TDP Supremo wore the khakee uniform and even went on a ride on auto rickshaw for a brief period. 'You take care of passengers, I'm gonna take care of you,' Naidu assured the Autowallahs while promising reduction of insurance and fuel charges.
Actually, YS Jaganmohan Reddy was the first leader to announce complete removal of road tax on autos if YCP forms the government. Chandrababu Naidu implemented the same promise in a hurry to deny any credit for the YCP Chief. It's an attempt to woo the Autowallahs and their Families ahead of the 2019 Elections.
