TDP Government is relying on Populist Schemes to retain the power. From Cellphones to DWAKRA Women, Rythu Raksha For Farmers, Exemption of Life Tax for Autos & Tractors and Unemployment Allowance, A lot of schemes could be implemented now to reach out to all sections of people.
2019 Elections will be the most crucial in the political career of Chandrababu Naidu. If TDP fail to retain power, There is every possibility of many TDP Leaders facing trouble in the form of Cash-for-Vote case & corruption charges.
The recent survey results weren't in favour of the Ruling TDP in AP. Chandrababu Naidu doesn't want to take any risks by forming alliance with Congress again after the dismal performance in Telangana. Attempts have been made to lure Pawan Kalyan but the plan didn't yield results. Finally, TDP Supremo decided to rely on the Populist Schemes.
Political Analysts say, AP Voters are clever enough to realise that all of these feats are election stunts. They even had the feeling that TDP Government has been copying most of the poll promises of YSR Congress Party.
