Its been one year since the Foundation Stone has been laid for AP Capital Amaravati by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Land Acquisition has been done in 29 Villages of Thulluru, Thadepalli and Mangalagiri mandals. About 22,189 Farmers have offered 34,470 acres to the capital city through Land Pooling.

Temporary Secretariat has been constructed in Velagapudi within 8 months at a cost of Rs 201 crore. Arrangement have been done to provide work space for 2,000 employees. From October 3rd, All the six structures built in Velagapudi have been occupied by CM, Council of Ministers, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries and Secretariat Employees.

On October 28th, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will lay foundation stone for Finance and Administration Buildings in Amaravati. AP CM wishes to complete 1st phase of Capital by December 2018.

AP Government has been offering a pension of Rs 2,500 per month for families which lost income source in capital due to land polling. About 19,189 people have been benefitted from it.

About 19 nurseries have been established in Amaravati. Chandrababu wants to make Capital a tourist attraction. Already, Several People have been coming to see secretariat buildings and the location where foundation stone of capital was laid.

There is good demand for setting up Educational and Health Institutions in AP Capital. Huge scope for hospitality Industry is evident. Already, Lands have been allotted to Vit, SRM and Amruthanandamayi Universities.

Employees who shifted to Vijayawada have been facing issues due to high cost of living. Hefty Rents, Travelling Cost and Expenses towards food have been emptying their pockets.

Chandrababu Naidu: 'Situation is much better now than the time Administration was run from sitting in a bus. The results in the past one year has been satisfactory'.
