AP Govt's Bumper Offer for Kidambi Srikanth

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu felicitated Kidambi Srikanth for winning Indonesia Super Series and Australia Super Series. He showered praises on the Ace Shuttler for winning two titles in a span of one week and four titles in his career. 'From Now, Kidambi Srikanth will play on behalf of AP. We will provide all the possible help to him for achieving new milestones,' he said, apart from presenting a shuttle bat to the champion.
Andhra Pradesh Government offered cash prize of Rs 50 lakh to Kidambi Srikanth for his achievements. Even Group 1 Posting and 1,000 sq ft plot has been sanctioned for him.
Srikanth's Coach Pullela Gopichand received a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh from AP Government.
Chandrababu Naidu informed Sports University will be set up in Amaravati. He offered to extend Govt's support if Pullela Gopichand wishes to establish Gopichand Academy in AP.
