Chandrababu Naidu has been busy meeting leaders of all the major political parties in the Anti-BJP Front since few days. After the Exit Polls shocker, TDP Supremo moved the proposal of meeting President Ramnath Kovind ahead of the counting of votes.
Naidu stressed the need to create an impression that there is unity among the parties of Anti-BJP Front. According to him, President will first of all invite BJP to form the government if there is a possibility Hung Parliament. There is every chance for horse-trading of MPs by BJP if such a situation arise. So, Leaders of the 21 Parties in the UPA should meet the President for sending a strong statement.
However, Partners hadn't responded positively to the proposal of Chandrababu Naidu to meet the President of India. They, however, decided to meet the Election Commission to express their concern over EVMs Tampering and demand for counting of more VVPAT Slips.
All the 13 Exit Polls favoured NDA. On an average, Anti-BJP Front will be winning anywhere around 122 seats. That's not even 50 percent of seats predicted for NDA.
