TDP suspends MLC Deepak Reddy

Telugu Desam Party has at last suspended MLC Deepak Reddy from the party on grounds of his involvement in multi-crore Land Scam.
TDP Coordination Committee Meeting was held on Thursday morning in Amaravati. CM discussed with party seniors about Deepak Reddy's issue. Saying that corrupt people willn't be tolerated at all, He gave his consent for the suspension of the MLC who is accused of amassing Rs 1,500 crore through land deals.
Few weeks ago, TDP suspended MLC Vakati Narayana Reddy based on corruption charges. And now, Deepak Reddy has been punished in the same manner.
Corrupt allegations on MLCs is damaging the reputation of TDP. Party Leadership need to give enough importance for background check while picking up candidates for such responsible posts. Else, Individuals like Vakati & Deepak end up becoming MLCs.
