Chandrababu Naidu who maintained ties with BJP for four years has been now trying to unite the Opposition Parties against PM Narendra Modi. The Meeting of Opposition Parties scheduled to happen on November 22nd got postponed.

AP CM has been desperately trying to form Grand Alliance against BJP by 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. He kept meeting the heads of Congress and other Regional Parties for making them work with a common agenda. However, Lack of understanding between the Opposition Parties delayed the meeting. New date could be announced after the meeting of Chandrababu Naidu with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on Monday.

SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav and BSP Supremo Mayawati continued to pose a huge threat to the Opposition Front. These Parties continued to the criticize the Congress although they are against BJP. Akhilesh accused Congress of hurting the poll prospects of SP in Chhattisgarh. On the other hand, Mayawati compared Congress and BJP with snakes. Even Mamata Banerjee and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar grew suspicious about the role to be played by Congress in the meeting. Few Parties had expressed objection to Rahul's Messenger Ashok Gehlot meeting Chandrababu in Amaravati few days ago.

TDP Sources say, Opposition Parties meeting has been postponed to January 19th. A Common Platform would be established in New Delhi to fight against the Centre. It would transform into a front by the time of 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
