TDP senior leader, Motkupalli Narasimhulu made comments about Telangana Telugu Desam Party and commented that the party needs to be merged into Telangana Rastra Samithi, recently.
He made very severe comments on the existence of TDP as a party in Telengana as well. Many senior leaders from Telangana have left the party and TDP has no strong leadership in the state, going forward.
This frustrated the leadership in Andhra Pradesh and also, the cadre is highly demotivated in Telangana. At this juncture, few encouraging words are expected from leaders but Motkupalli Narasimhulu, due to his frustration made those comments.
He has been a rebel lately, as he expected Governor post and that seems to be not happening in any possible manner in coming years too. So, he is trying to challenge the leadership of the party but if he goes out of the party himself, he will remain a rebel candidate from the party but if TDP expels him, he can get sympathy from his community and became a leader in opposition parties.
That seems to be his strategy and hence, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is not reacting against him nor letting any other seniors leaders to react on this matter.
He got all the information necessary to take an action but he is not acting on it as it is a crucial time. With credibility of TDP and BJP, not as strong as 2014 and ever-growing issues with opposition leader Jagan's growing popularity and Pawan Kalyan's distance from TDP, Chandrababu Naidu doesn't want to take any disciplinary action of senior Dalit leader like Motkupalli Narasimhulu.
The matter seems to have taken a back seat at this point of time and cadre are not pleased with this development. They expected an aggressive action but that seems to be a distant dream at this point.
