The elections in Telangana are over and everyone is making his or her own guesses. Now the guessing game has begun. A slew of exit polls and post-poll surveys have come to light presenting their respecting findings. The leaders are speaking. But, one person is strangely silent. He is none other than Chandrababu Naidu.
Naidu campaigned vigorously, planned furiously and worked frantically during the elections. He cobbled up alliances, conducted road shows and addressed public meets. This is a high stakes election for him as a victory in Telangana would not just signal his come back in this state, but also boost his chances in Andhra Pradesh. The success could also help him play a key role at the national level. But, strangely, Chandrababu is tight-lipped. He hasn't said a thing after the polling.
Despite a favourable report from Lagadapati, Chandrabbu is silent. Though he has focused on his job in AP, his heart and mind are fully occupied by the Telangana politics. So, why is he so silent? Is he aware that things would not go in his way? Is he worried that KCR would now go hammer and tongs against him?
