AP CM Chandrababu Naidu alleges YSR Congress Party is trying to ensure Nandyal by-election gets postponed. He asked TDP Leaders and Cadre to be fully prepared to foil any such attempts.
During the co-ordination committee meeting on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu alleged YCP has been trying to provoke communal violence out of fear of losing the by-poll. He added, The ploy is to make Election Commission postpone the by-poll due to the Law & Order issue.
Actually, YCP doesn't get benefitted from postponement of Nandyal by-election in any manner. That's why, Main Opposition is determined to fight the battle till the last minute instead of making excuses.
The statement of CM gave an impression that TDP is so confident about the victory. Internal surveys have predicted a majority anywhere between 15,000 to 18,000 votes for Ruling Party. This move by Babu could be an attempt to increase the majority further. Even YSR Congress Party is confident of winning the by-poll at least by a margin of one vote.
