AP CM Chandrababu Naidu began campaigning in poll-bound Nandyal constituency Today. Minister Akhila Priya and TDP Candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy accompanied TDP Supremo during the road show.
Chandrababu got a bit emotional while addressing the gathering - 'When Shoba Nagireddy passed away, TDP didn't contest in Allagadda. Even when YSR passed away, We hadn't fielded candidate in Pulivendula. But now, Opposition Leader is behaving in an inhuman manner with children (Akhila Priya, Brahmananda Reddy) who lost their Parents'.
TDP Chief questioned, 'What for Jagan is asking People to shoot Me in public? Should I be stripped for doing good to the people? What if Children hear an Opposition Leader speak in such manner? People should use their vote to teach a lesson to such people'.
CM accused Shilpa Mohan Reddy of encroaching Nandyal market land. 'TDP increased Pension to Rs 1,000. We have been offering interest-free loans up to Rs 1 lakh and charging 25 Paise interest for loans up to Rs 3 lakh. We provided Rs 5 lakh life insurance for Farmers. We developed Tirupati and Vizag. Kurnool will soon become a Smart City. In three months, We sanctioned 285 works for Nandyal. Rs 2,200 crore have been spent for the development of the constituency'.
On the other hand, Akhila Priya alleged YCP offered ticket to the person who is responsible for Bhuma Nagireddy's death. She appealed people bring her Father alive with their valuable vote.
