Chandranna Sankranti Kanuka Again

AP government is promoting the Chief Minister's name through gift hampers on the festive occasions. Recently, AP CM Chandrababu announced a Ramzan Gift Pack for Muslim families in the State wherein they received a packet of assortment of atta (5 kg), sugar (2 kg), semia (1 kg) and ghee (100 g) from fair price shops against production of their ration cards.
Now once again Naidu is going to offer festival gift for the poor. The Chandrababu Naidu government is planning a bonanza on the occasion of Sakranti. On the eve of big festival Chandranna Sankranti Kanuka would be presented to 1.3 crore families.
The Rs 280-gift pack contains red gram, cooking oil, jaggery, Bengal gram and wheat flour besides ghee. This scheme is expected to cost Rs 300 on the exchequer.
Below are the quantities of the items
(1) Redgram Dal- ½ Kg.,
(2) P.Oil- ½ Litre
(3) Bengal Gram- 1 Kg,
(4) Jaggery-1/2 Kg,
(5) Wheat Atta- 1Kg and
(6) Ghee – 100 ML
