HC Lawyers Thrash Rape Accused In Court

A 12-Year-Old Hearing Impaired Girl was gang-raped by 24 people for over 7 months at the apartment complex in Ayanavaram, Chennai. Cops arrested 17 accused and began manhunt for nabbing 7 others involved in the heinous crime. The accused include lift operator, security guards, electricians, plumbers and other maintenance staff working at the apartment complex.
When the 17 Accused urged them to take up their case, High Court Advocates lost their cool and thrashed them. They were dragged down the staircase for what they have done to a minor girl. Cops intervened and shifted the Accused from the spot. This incident happened just hours after Supreme Court said law shouldn't be taken into the hands.
All the Accused were remanded till July 31st after being produced in the Women's Court. High Court Advocates Body declared they won't fight for the Accused. DMK Working President MK Stalin appreciated the Advocates for what they have done.
The Minor Girl was gangraped for months by the maintenance staff of the apartment complex offering injections and soft drinks laced with sedatives. It's really shocking to know Parents failed to notice any change in their daughter all these months. The news broke out only after the victim's outburst in the presence of her Sister.
