Multiplexes can't sell Water Bottles above MRP

Packaged drinking water has been sold at beyond the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) in almost all the theatres. But, This is going to end at least in Hyderabad from now.
Vijayagopal, a consumer, complained to Consumer Forum regarding the sale of Water Bottle costing Rs 20 for Rs 50 in the Multiplex. Subsequently, A ruling has been passed by Consumer Forum asking Multiplexes and Malls to sell Water Bottles as per the prices in outside market.
Consumer Forum directed Theatre Owners to provide Water to the people free of cost at a convenient place in the premises. All the theatres in Twin Cities have to abide by these orders.
People can report to Consumer Forum against the Theatres if norms have been breached. A hefty penalty will be imposed against the Management in such cases.
